So if you are out of the loop, last Friday my girlfriend, yes I have a girlfriend, Amanda, told me that she was pregnant. I was in total shock! After a couple minutes of me just staring at the ground not saying a word, I started to smile out of nowhere. I look up and Amanda was just staring at me waiting for a response. I told her that it was going to be okay and that I will be with her 100%. We sat in her room talking about everything we had to do including telling our parents. That was a heartbeat-skipper on its own! First we told her parents. They basically did that same thing as me. I was afraid her dad was going to pull out a gun out of his back pocket but surprisingly they were really understanding! We talked with them for a couple hours and then headed to tell MY parents. Words cannot describe how I was feeling at that moment, I mean my mom said she would kill me if I ever got a tattoo! Anyway, when we told them, I was squeezing Amanda’s hand under the table. I’ve never had such sweaty palms in my LIFE. My mom cried for what seemed to be eternity. My dad was cool. The first thing he said was, “So what are we gonna call me? Gramps?” It’s the only ice breaker I’ve ever liked that my dad did!
In some of my 365 videos, someone said that we’re being to calm about this sort of situation…WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO, FLIP OUT!? Sure, we didn’t PLAN for this to happen but we’re not going to beat ourselves up over something that cannot be taken back. We’re optimists who are taking this and molding it into something great. The best thing you can bring into this world is a child. I just didn’t think it would be so soon for me. Just think, in 8 1/2 months, there will be a little me (because it WILL be a boy) pooping and crying and eating and pooping and crying all over the place. I need to seriously mentally prepare myself….

I am so happy for you and Amanda! And sure, it’s soon (If I could I’d have a baby by the time I was 21-23, it’s healthier for the mom and the baby so, biologically speaking, it’s actually great having a baby in your early 20s) and it wasn’t planned but there are definitely worse situations! You guys have the support of family and friends and thousands of people on YouTube (your baby is going to be a celebrity from day one)!
I just realized that both of you have names starting with A, along with your brothers so he/she has to have a name starting with A – it’s almost mandatory haha
I think babies are the cutest little thing, whether they are boys or girls, and I’m sure whatever gender it is your baby will be welcome =)
In my case, and being such a girl, I’d prefer a boy as a first child and then a girl, so the boy could protect his little sister :)

im alexis and i love watching your videos ! i think its great you and Amanda are having a baby, i cant imagine how cute it is going to be :) at first i thought it was a joke but then i saw how serious your videos were getting and then i figured you wouldnt go that far. lol But anyways keep making your videos even after project365 because i dont noe what else i would do in my spare time :)
